We are delighted to welcome you to the picturesque and historical university city of Cambridge, UK<\/b>, for the 20th Congress of the EPA Section of Epidemiology and Social Psychiatry, to be held 8-10 September 2022.\u00a0<\/p>

\"Credit:Cambridge is home to the University of Cambridge, one of the most successful, prestigious and oldest universities in the world, with the university first founded in 1209. The city sits on the beautiful and gentle River Cam, where in good (and inclement!) weather one can relax by “punting” gently and serenely past some of the 31 Colleges which make up the University, including Trinity College, King’s College and St John’s College.<\/p>

The city of Cambridge’s prestigious academic reputation, inspiring architecture, rich history and relaxed pace of life (cycling, punting and walking are wonderful ways to explore the city) make it the ideal venue to host the 20th Congress of the EPA Section of Epidemiology & Social Psychiatry.\u00a0<\/p>

Cambridge is easily accessible internationally, and is about 1 hour by train from central London, 30 minutes by train from London Stansted airport and 1 hour by coach from London Luton airport. Direct trains also connect Cambridge to Gatwick Airport (1.45 hours). London Heathrow can be reached in about 2 hours from Cambridge by train. The 20th Congress of the EPA Section of Epidemiology and Social Psychiatry will be held at West Road Concert Hall<\/b><\/a>, one of Cambridge’s premiere classical music venues, run and managed by the University of Cambridge.\u00a0Situated only a few minutes\u2019 walk away from the famous Cambridge “Backs” and King\u2019s College, it is renowned for its superb acoustic qualities, and provides a highly suitable venue for our congress.\u00a0<\/p>

Accommodation in Cambridge is in high demand<\/b>, and we recommend booking early<\/a><\/b> to avoid disappointment. We have secured a number of comfortable, affordable and unique en suite <\/i>rooms in historic university colleges within walking distance of the main congress venue.
