Poster tours & judging

We have two poster sessions on Thursday 8th Sep (P1) and Friday 9th Sep (P2). Posters will be available for viewing each day in the Recital Room. The main poster viewing session each day will take place during the lunch period (12:00 – 13:30) when presenters are asked to stand next to their posters.

A Poster Prize will be awarded to the best poster presentation at our Congress, to be judged by members of our Scientific Committee and announced during our Closing Ceremony. Poster judging will take place at lunchtime on Thursday and Friday, from 12:15 – 13:15.

Delegates may join one of three poster tours led by a member of our Scientific Committee each day. If you wish to do so, please meet at the first nominated poster in each poster tour at 12:15. The first nominated poster of each of three tours on Thursday and Friday lunchtime is shown in this poster tour schedule in bold. Poster presenters will in each tour will give a 2 minute presentation of their poster followed by time for questions.

About Session IDs & Presentation IDs

Each Session taking place during the Congress has been assigned a unique Session ID which you will find in our timetables, programmes and online abstract books.

  • Plenary sessions are numbered PL1-PL5
  • ECR Keynote sessions are numbered ECR1-ECR5
  • Themed Symposia sessions (convened by delegates) are numbered S01-S25
  • Oral Presentation sessions (individual talks, convened into parallel sessions by our Scientific Committee) are numbers OP01-OP11
  • Rapid-Fire ECR talk sessions are numbered RF1-RF4
  • Poster sessions are numbered P1-P2

Within each session, each abstract accepted for presentation has been assigned a unique Presentation ID. The Presentation ID is a two-part ID such as S01.02, OP05.10 or RF1.07. The first part (i.e. S01, OP05 or RF1) indicates the Session ID, and the second part (i.e. 02, 10, 07) indicates the position / order of presentations within a given Session.

You can also find out more about our plenary speakerswhat else to expect at the Congress and our social programme on other pages.
